ExPatTV add-on is down

Yes ExpatTV add-on is down right now as of 1st November 2014  Hopefully there will be an update and it will be back up soon.  I think it is because FilmOn has just radically updated their website and system for the better.  

Just use for now the FilmOn add-on or FTV add-on as both will work for live UK TV much like ExPatTV, even without your FilmOn registration details entered into the add-on settings.  Better though if you enter your Filmon registration details into both the add-on's configuration settings screen, if you have not done so already, and anyway you will need to do so to be able use the new awesome free cloud based DVR system.

More about that FilmOn new cloud based DVR can be found on their website support page which should answer most of your questions.  Use this direct link http://support.111pix.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/List/Index/8/recording  though you may have to be signed into your FilmOn account first to be able to view this page.  I hope shortly to be publishing the first of many tutorial videos as to how to configure your magic box to use this new awesome FilmOn DVR facility. which I have tested and it works brilliantly even can record and watch programs already shown over the past 24 hours too in case you forget to pre-book a show to record.  Many thanks to Ed Davidson for bringing this new free FilmOn DVR facility to our attention.

12/11/2014 GREAT NEWS.  

The ExPatTV add-on has just been updated by the developers from Version 3.3.2 to 3.3.3 (16/11/2014 - now auto updated to V3.3.6) and is now thankfully fully working again. :-)    Still with the exception of ITV1 not working, all other channels seem to be back to normal.  If your FilmOn Account details were previously set up with this add-on then they will still be so after this version update.

IMPORTANT NOTE.  This add-on will NOT auto update to the new needed version until you carry out the manual update procedure for the .XunityTalk Repository as per today's important article you will find in the Known Issues section. Once that task has been completed ExPatTV will auto update again and be back working properly for you.  Enjoy :-)
